Happy June! I hope all of you dads out there had an amazing Father’s Day! I spent the day with my family swimming and having a BBQ. It was the perfect day of relaxing. In this month’s Murrieta market trends report I will be pulling the numbers for the current month of June and comparing them to May. As always, my stats are based on single family, detached residences, with 3+ bedrooms, and 2+ baths.
Number of Active Listings: 237
Average Murrieta Home List Price in June: $519,591
Number of Homes Sold in May: 214
Average Murrieta Sold Price in May: $425,535
Average Days on the Market: 27
Taking a look at the numbers, right away I can see that there really hasn’t been an improvement since May. We have actually gone down in the number of homes listed for sale. Currently there are only 237 and last month at this time we had 234. The average listed home price in the city of Murrieta is $519,591 which has gone up slightly from $510,646 in May. Like I said, not much of a change with these numbers.
Moving onto the homes that are selling in Murrieta, we had a total of 175 from 4/15-5/15 and from 5/15-6/19 we had 214, so a nice jump in home sales there. The average price the homes sold for in May was $425,535 vs April which had an average of $421,001. The average days that homes are on the market has gone down slightly from 34 days to 27.
